This U.S. Bankruptcy Courthouse is a historic structure located in New York, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building houses a U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the Office of the U.S. Trustee, the U.S. Attorney and the U.S. Postal Service.
Goshow Architects provided an energy conservation and renewable energy generation analysis for the project, which is currently under construction, incorporating HVAC upgrades and new energy generation systems into the building, including a rooftop photovoltaic array, intelligent lighting, re-lamping of existing features, multi-parameter demand control ventilation, and the installation of high-efficiency boilers and chillers. The project is pursuing LEED Certification under the LEED EB:OM rating system.
